ReThink IT Consulting is led by two great visionaries who have a passion for staffing. With unique personality and style, they are a winning combination.
Ashwani Mayur, Co-CEO
Ashwani spearheads the company’s strategy and finance. Soft spoken by nature, he is known for his exemplary people skills, love for dogs, and down-to-earth personality.
Ash, in more ways than one, is the “cornerstone” of the company- the pillar of strength for employees and customers and the one single strong force that holds everyone together. While those close to him would say that he is hyper-organized and financially responsible- he is more known for his servant leadership. His style of management resonates with employees and clients alike and they credit him for his cheerful personality. Ash graduated from the prestigious REC Kurukshetra, India, in 1993. After migrating to the US in 1998 and working with various Fortune companies, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey. Ash has always had a fascination with numbers and although notoriously known as the guy who speaks in numbers- he is equally known for his interpersonal skills, creativity and style. He’s one of those rare species whose EQ and IQ are equally sharp….a winning combination for Rethink.
Nikhil Budhiraja, Co-CEO
Nick is a founder and Co-CEO of ReThink IT Consulting. He is responsible for the company’s strategy execution, operations and revenue generation.
Nick has a long career in the high tech, engineering and staffing industry. Prior to Rethink, Nick was owner/co-owner of several tech companies and startups (Prodilink Solutions, i4 Technologies and Shopping Trend). Under his leadership, the companies successfully executed growth strategies, built key strategic relationships with partners, expanded into new vertical markets and underwent M&A process. Prior to embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Nick worked as an independent technology consultant for several Fortune500 firms like Apple, Fannie Mae, UPS and BellSouth.
Nick exemplifies Rethink commitment to helping its clients achieve their technology and hiring goals. He is a proven leader, with expertise in developing strong relationships, a passion for constant innovation and a disciplined focus on operations and execution. Besides working as Co-CEO, he also wears the company’s Chief Innovation Officer hat.
Nick received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology (MAHE) and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He remains an active alumnus there. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two kids.

In 2017, Rethink was recognized by the Washington Business Journal as a nominee for corporate philanthropy because of our volunteer hours and contributions made to the community around us. While Rethink is humbled to receive this recognition, our mission has evolved to move from being a mere staffing provider to responding to the needs of our community. Through this, Rethink embarked on a journey to further our mission to corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy. We feel we have an obligation to give back to our community and respond to challenges by donating our time, our expertise and money. Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House was created to provide a place for the families of seriously and terminally ill children to stay while they are in hospital. This is needed because often local care is not available for these children so they have to travel to receive it. When taking care of a sick child, having a place to stay is something that RMHC® believes families should not have to worry about. Parents should not have to divide the family during what is already a trying time. The Falls Church Ronald McDonald House strives to ease the daily burdens faced by such families so that they can focus on the well-being of their child. At the House, families receive a variety of services and support from the staff and many volunteers like Team Rethink. Rethink is a regular volunteer in this house by preparing delicious food from scratch in their kitchens. We love interacting with the families and the staff, especially M.K. Phillips.
Also known as Edwards syndrome, Trisomy 18 is a condition which is caused by an error in cell division, known as meiotic disjunction. As a financial partner, we ensure families have the support they need and progress is made in understanding and treating Trisomy 18 through research.
Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter
Empowerment. The Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter (or more commonly known as LAWS) provides free, confidential services to adults and children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Rethink continues to support LAWS through donating needed products.
American Cancer Society
Relay for Life Event– Team Rethink- Cancer has touched all of our lives in some way, and it has inspired us to join Relay for Life. This event celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide. 15.5 MILLION. That’s huge. On the day of the event, we honor survivors and remember lost loved ones. Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that helps save lives.
We hope to continue to evolve as a staffing agency while retaining our guiding principles and ethos and continue to give back to the world through our donations, services, time, effort and actions.
